A Legacy of Craftsmanship in Every Mount
At Peterson Taxidermy, we don't just preserve animals — we preserve memories, traditions, and the moments that matter most to you. Based in the heart of Kenesaw, Nebraska, our shop has been a trusted destination for hunters, collectors, and families seeking exceptional taxidermy work for generations.
Every mount that leaves our workshop carries the weight of careful attention: from the initial preparation and skinning to the final pose, finishing, and display. We believe that a taxidermy piece should feel alive — not just technically correct, but emotionally resonant.
Whether it's a buck you spent months pursuing, a bird you'll never forget, or an heirloom mount that needs restoration, we treat every commission with the same level of care and dedication.
A Glimpse of Our Craft
Each piece is a testament to patience, skill, and an unwavering commitment to realism.
"The mount Peterson Taxidermy created for us is absolutely stunning — it looks exactly like my buck did in the field. A true work of art."
